Abstract: The solution of the problem of the formation of professional competencies, taking into account the requirements of the professional standard of the teacher of vocational training, requires the use of appropriate training tools and methods. Applied tools and methods should ensure the formation of professional competencies of future teachers of vocational training by «immersion in the problem», consideration by the trainees of objects and processes in their relationship based on comprehensive knowledge. The work theoretically substantiates the process of developing educational and methodological support when applying the case method according to the vocational training methodology. Subjects of cases are presented and justified, situations of professional activity are described, the structure of educational and methodological support for the discipline is given when applying the case method, case assignments are proposed.
