Abstract: The article discusses use of gamification in teaching foreign languages. The method is viewed to increase motivation of students to learning, creating their interest to educational achievements with the help o f elements typical for video games. Ways of teaching organization with gaimification elements are discussed to define more suitable elements for the effective teaching/learning organization. In the end of the article applications targeted at foreign language learning are discussed, characterized and commented upon as to creating interactive educational environment.
