Abstract: Historical preconditions of country camps establishment are discussed, the birth of Scout camps idea is shown, organization of country centers for health improvement and organization of children, historical stages of the problem are presented. Every stage is characterized, aims, main tasks, ideas and organization specifics of different camp types are identified, the problem of training staff in organization of children entertainment at country centers at the present stage are defined.
