Title: Project Method of Mastering “Additional Instrument” Programme by Students

Abstract: Issues of project learning method and teaching “Additional Instrument” (Piano) course at higher school are discussed. The existing concepts of forming a musical culture and professional competence of future specialists are analyzed. Creative work with a piece of musical is viewed as the major element of school curriculum. Works by eminent scholars and educationalists in project learning are reviewed.
